PEACE. HOPE. LOVE.

Are you ready for some football??

Our wedding shower took place at my parents home once again.  We, as well as some of our friends and family, are Charger fans; so what a great way to show off our love of football and incorporate a real televised game during our shower.  Everything was stylized from the yellow and blue balloons, football lanterns, jersey cake, and little helmet favors.  The guest book was a football where our guests signed, just like an autographed football.  Various games were played like 'guess who I am'.  People were given a name on their backs and had to go around asking people questions to guess who they were.  The game could be played in different ways....celebrities, cartoons, tv characters.  We played with celebrities.  Other games were 'guess how many m&m's in a jar', 'remember what they were wearing' - where Kelvin and I left the room for a couple of minutes and everyone had to remember what we were wearing. Other games were 'how well do you know Anne & Kelvin', there was a bolt pinata, and the best game of all...... San Diego Chargers vs Dallas Cowboys.  And of course Chargers won!  One of the tie breakers we did for the games was musical chairs, and you could only imagine how that went.
