I love and am very passionate about weddings and special events. I began my pursuit when I was a Polynesian dancer with Motu Nehenehe, doing various events and fundraisers for our shows/competitions. Since then I’ve maintained an enjoyment in helping family/friends with their events.
In 2009, I began coordinating weddings with my best friend and started Aloha Paperdolls. I got married beginning of 2010, and since then my passion for weddings has grown. We did a handful of weddings at beautiful San Diego venues such as Bahia Resort Hotel, La Jolla Estancia, and The Westin Hotel to name a few.
Aloha Paperdolls went on a small hiatus and just as one grows and matures, Nostalgic Beginnings Event Design and Coordination emerged. A new year came a new start. I believe your wedding is a beginning of a new life together. My goal is to create unforgettable experiences filled with emotion and a lingering sense of awe. I want to elicit a sense of nostalgia, so that when you look back at your happiness, you will feel instantly inspired.
I firmly believe “Your wedding is a day. Your marriage is a lifetime.” And I will do my best to help you realize that.
I design and coordinate events that include, but are not limited to, weddings, birthdays, engagements/proposals, retirement parties, baby showers, etc. From finding venues, choosing well experienced vendors, and making sure things run smoothly on the day of the event, I strive to make any special event memorable and stress-free as possible.
